GREG MORIN ~ Local Photography & Art Rocks
Artist Connie RuddGregg Morin grew up in upstate New York and moved to Leadville, Colorado in 1979 to attend Colorado Mountain College.  In 1982, he transferred to WSC, fell in love with Gunnison and has lived here ever since.   He graduated from WSC with a Recreation Degree and enjoys many outdoor activities including canoeing, cycling, hiking, cross country skiing and speed skating ~ offering lots of photo opportunities.

Even though he shoots mostly digital, he still uses the film camera for the panoramic pictures in this collection.  He shoots with 4 Pentax cameras:  the Zx-7 35mm film camera, the Kx digital slr, the K5 digital slr & the W90 waterproof digital.

Gregg’s new technique of “Watercolor” photography was used in the 2013 Crested Butte Wildflower Poster.  The “Watercolor” digital filter in his camera works well with architecture as well as landscapes.  Custom projects are welcome!
